Steve McBride is a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst and Professional Mediator. Steve's primary focus is a divorce mediator, helping parties to work through all the issues of their divorce cost effectively.  He also helps and advises individuals, couples and their attorneys and mediators work through the financial and accounting issues related to divorce.  He helps divorcing clients in the role of mediator, and supports clients in litigation and collaborative processes.

Divorce Advice for Individuals.  Individual clients, when considering or going through divorce,  find it helpful for us to help them think through the financial implications of divorce and then help them develop various settlement options which they can discuss with their spouse or attorney.

Mediation.  Couples seeking divorce ask us to assist them, as a mediator, work through their issues and help them develop a divorce agreement, including both the financial and parenting issues.  These agreements tend to work better over the long run than those imposed by the Court or after a period of escalated conflict at the end of the litigation process.  We use a facilitative problem-solving approach to mediation, helping the parties to work out what they think is fair and in the best interests of their family.  We address all the issues necessary to reach a complete settlement, including division of assets and liabilities, division of retirement plans, disposition of the marital home, child support, spousal support, and parenting plans.
